About the Role

Resident Physicians (RPs) are experienced foreign-trained doctors who contribute to clinical services in Singapore’s public hospitals. This role is more senior than the Clinical Associate position and is suitable for those with advanced qualifications or significant post-MO experience. RPs may manage patients more independently and are often entrusted with greater clinical responsibilities, including supervising junior staff.

This role provides an excellent opportunity for doctors to integrate into Singapore’s healthcare system, build local experience, and potentially progress toward further credentialing and specialization.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care and perform clinical duties across various hospital departments
• Supervise and support Clinical Associates and junior medical staff
• Lead ward rounds and participate in multidisciplinary discussions
• Perform diagnostic and treatment procedures independently, where qualified
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Comply with local medical guidelines and clinical governance

Eligibility Criteria

• Foreign-trained doctor with minimum 3 years post-Medical Officer experience
• Preferably studied in Malaysia or holds a postgraduate qualification recognized by the Singapore Medical Council (SMC)
• Strong clinical acumen and leadership capabilities
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Prior Emergency Medicine or hospital-based experience preferred

Compensation and Benefits

• Monthly Salary: From SGD 6,500 (depending on experience and qualifications)
• Housing Allowance: SGD 1,500/month
• Annual Wage Supplement (AWS) and Performance Bonus
• Relocation Package:
• Inbound air ticket for employee, spouse, and up to 3 children (economy class)
• Temporary hotel accommodation (up to SGD 230/night for 13 nights)
• Settling-in allowance:
• SGD 1,000 (individual)
• SGD 2,000 (with dependents)
