The incumbent will oversee the global framework for detecting, assessing, and responding to operational, technology, and control issues across the organization. This leader will have a critical role defining cultural change, alignment with 2LOD governance programs, and executing on implementing a ‘heightened standards’ issue management program across all global 1LOD teams. Risk based controls that are embedded-by-design, systemic, preventive, and leverage real-time anomaly detection to drive rapid time-to-identification are essential along with effective control design and testing. Build organizational awareness and toolset to understand risk-appetite, effective RCSA/Risk Control Self-Assessments, and strong-linkage between risk taking and accountability. Define strong PayPal Group Controls and Issue Management programs that have linkage to global regulated entity programs drive consistent controls taxonomy, accountability, and effective management of risk taking activity.<br><br>This leader will work closely with our Incident Management + Resiliency and Technology Leadership to implement critical programmatic investments that <em>Strengthen the Core of PayPal</em> and ensure every day we are ever better… ,advancing readiness, resiliency, and control program effectiveness that is consistent with the scale, maturity, and balanced risk-taking activities.
