Responsibilities

• Assumes primary responsibility for interventions, alerts, implementations, and follow-ups for assigned students.

• Communicates daily with students to maintain satisfaction, persistence, and retention.

• Develops and maintains an understanding of academic programs, curriculum, and degree requirements.

• Advises students on long-term goals, motivations, and career plans.
,
• Guides students regarding academic progress and graduation requirements.
,
• Provides information about financial aid requirements and processes.
,
• Assists students in addressing problems and connects them to appropriate resources.
,
• Participates in New Student Orientation events.
,
• Represents the university in the Solution Center and at other events.
,
• Maintains confidentiality of educational records in accordance with FERPA regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or a minimum of five years of professional experience in a college or university or professional office environment.

• Strong customer service orientation and ability to support student inquiries.

• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
,
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
,
• Ability to work independently with minimal instruction and demonstrate initiative.

Nice-to-haves

• Preferred experience in customer service, sales, Christian ministry, or counseling.
