Job Summary:

The Elite Job is seeking organized and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Virtual Bookkeepers. As a Virtual Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial reports, and assisting clients with tax preparation. Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records for clients using bookkeeping software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms.
Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring that all transactions are recorded in a timely manner.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure financial accuracy.
Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and income statements.
Assist clients in preparing and filing taxes, providing them with essential financial information.
Communicate regularly with clients to ensure financial goals are being met and offer solutions to potential issues.
Ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal financial regulations.
Stay updated with the latest accounting regulations and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
Proficiency in bookkeeping software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or other similar platforms.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients effectively.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in accounting or finance is preferred.

Experience:

At least 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
Previous experience working with small businesses or remote clients is highly desirable.
Experience in using accounting software and preparing financial reports.

Working Hours:

Flexible working hours, with the expectation of meeting deadlines and client requirements.
Full-time or part-time positions available.
Ability to manage workload and maintain productivity with minimal supervision.
