Client An ICG client is looking for a highly experienced Program Director to take charge and guide towards completion of an in-flight core banking replacement program. This is an amazing opportunity to truly deliver transformative change for the client. Role Program Director role appointed by the incoming Chief Information Officer Provide leadership across all internal, System Integrator (responsible for the core platform implementation/configuration) and other 3rd party delivery Drive (and improve) business/technology integration across the Program to optimise outcomes (e.g. business and product simplification) Ensure all associated workstreams and strategies (e.g. migration, decommissioning, transition plans) are in place and integrated into the plans Ensure an achievable delivery plan is in place and can be executed against/tracked Ensure a realistic (and rigorous) benefits realisation plan is in place and has appropriate ownership Ensure oversight and governance mechanisms are appropriate and effective (and support effective decision-making) Ensure risks and issues are actively managed, escalated (if required) and resolved Key Deliverables : Initial (rapid) program assessment culminating in a verified/re-baselined integrated plan and recommendations to underpin successful delivery Benefits realisation plan Effective governance framework in place and in operation Effective technology/business integration in place Effective management of schedule, dependencies, risks and issues on an ongoing basis Skills and experience required : Significant banking experience and experience of large-scale core transformation programs Influencing people and executive stakeholder management Ability to span business and technology Ability to operate at an executive level combined with the ability to "dive deep" Exceptional communication skills Logistics Start date : Immediate, 13 August 2024 Duration: 12 Months (initially) Location: Can be based anywhere but regular (weekly) travel and time on the ground in Auckland/Wellington will be required Rate : The daily net rate to the consultant will be between $1,600 - $1,800 AUD + GST Application Close date: No later than Friday 2nd August 2024, 5 pm AEST APT's must be lodged within 48 hours. We will review all APT's and select the best 3 for the client. The client will then conduct interviews. Please note that the net rate quoted is an ICG Affiliate rates available for ICG Members only.
